Wexler’s Deli — Los Angeles

Wexler’s Deli was born out of a desire to “serve classic Jewish deli food made by people who care”. The meats are seasoned, brined, and smoked in house — and they’re delicious. If you’re looking for a crowd pleaser, order The O.G., pastrami spread with mustard on rye. It’s a classic.

The dishes at Green Chile Kitchen are centered around the red and green chiles native to New Mexico. The food is inspired by owner Trevor Logan’s many years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Bing Bing Dim Sum — Philadelphia

Dim Sum is built for sharing, and a few plates from Bing Bing Dim Sum will keep your crew going through the game. Full disclosure, the owners of this Philly spot don’t consider this “authentic” Asian cuisine, but that’s not what they were going for anyway. Their food is “often informed by tradition, but it’s never defined by it”. Try out the spicy lamb dumplings.

Trifecta Annex — Portland

Portland native Ken Forkish is a force to be reckoned with in the food space. This James Beard award winner is now up for another, and is owner of four restaurants, including Trifecta Annex. Seasoned with a simple salt and pepper rub, the meats are smoked for hours over hardwoods and served on butcher paper. It’s hard to pick a favorite here, so a selection of meats is the best way to go for an extra juicy delivery.

Burma Superstar in an East Bay favorite, serving up cuisine from Myanmar. Burmese food is influenced by the spices and cooking styles of the countries neighboring the partially landlocked nation, resulting in a unique flavor profile. The Platha and Dip is a great starter for any game.
